Hartmann Trauma Bandage

The Hartmann Trauma Bandage is a highly compact, individually packaged bandage.

What separates this bandage from the pack is its 2-slot pressure applicator, which ensures the dressing is stable in both the rotation on the limb and stable when sliding towards the distal end of the limb. This allows pressure and counter-pressure to be balanced around the entire circumference of the limb or body. See the video to see the 2-slot applicator in action.

This bandage was designed for contact management of serious hemorrhagic wounds, particularly in urgent situations. It can be applied with one hand, and features a loop that allows the injured limb to be retracted into the bandage (to prevent it from turning in a vacuum).

In addition, the loop can be substituted as a biting strap for self application on the upper arm.
